Just a few tidbits of information regarding the iPhone:
Due to the people buying and reselling newly hacked iPhones, Apple is imposing a limit of 2 per person for purchase, as well as only allowing customers to purchase phones using credit/debit cards. No cash is accepted, I guess so they can have a paper trail. They are also refusing to accept Apple gift cards as payment. Now that part is just ridiculous. I can understand the refusing cash, but at the same time why would a hacker buy one phone at a time? Couldn't they trace that the guy/gal bought several phones over a period of time? Sucks to be someone who has amassed several gift cards over the last few months (kids from relatives) as Engadget so wisely points out.
Leopard has already been hacked by the OSx86 community to be used on Windows based PCs, as of launch day. Fairly impressive, eh?
And for those of you on the fence about buying a new Mac or PC (unless you want to run both), then perhaps this nifty little chart at Engadget will help you decide.
